Foundation Day: A remembrance through which the Saudi people reflect on the deep-rooted heritage of their homeland

His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Mansour, Acting CEO of the SME Bank, extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes—on his own behalf and on behalf of all members of the SME Bank Ecosystem—to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them, on the occasion of Foundation Day.

The SME Bank's Acting CEO said: "This cherished national anniversary reminds the sons and daughters of the Kingdom of the deep-rooted heritage of their homeland and the greatness of its history, which spans more than 3 centuries—beginning with the founding of the nation by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, in the middle of 1139 AH (1727 AD), and continuing through to the current era of resolve and ambition under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, may Allah protect them. Today, our nation is witnessing a remarkable developmental leap toward achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030".

Bin Mansour highlighted the progress achieved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, beginning with its unification by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Al Saud—may Allah have mercy on him—and continuing through the reigns of the Kingdom’s successive kings—may God have mercy on them all—who built a vast and cohesive nation grounded in unity and strength to ensure sustainable development. Today, we are witnessing the fruits of those efforts through the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which has introduced a wide range of development programs across all sectors—particularly the SME sector—as we continue our journey of leadership in the economic, political, and cultural spheres, both regionally and internationally.

He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently witnessing the launch of numerous major transformative projects and ambitious initiatives across all sectors, aimed at solidifying its position as a global hub connecting the three continents. These efforts are in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He prayed to Almighty Allah to preserve the nation's leadership, guide their efforts, and continue to bless the Kingdom with security, stability, and prosperity.

He concluded his statement by affirming that the anniversary of Foundation Day deepens our confidence and pride in this generous nation and serves as a powerful motivation to redouble our efforts in continuing the remarkable renaissance aimed at achieving sustainable development across all sectors. It is through these achievements that we honor the proud history of our beloved homeland. He prayed to Almighty Allah to preserve the nation's leaders, guide their efforts, and continue to bless the Kingdom with security, stability, and prosperity.
